Here are some SHOPPING STATUS GUIDELINES used in the Design District:.

In general, most of the stores "on the street"  are open to all customers.

It is manly the 4 Design Center Showrooms which remain Strictly To The Trade Only.

The four main Centers are :

The Decorative Center (Hi Line Dr.),

The Oak Lawn Design Plaza  1444 Oak Lawn Ave.

The Dallas Design Center (Slocum St.)

International Design Center on Turtle Creek at Irving Blvd. 

So feel free to go into any shops on the 33 streets (above) which make up the Dallas-Design-District.
