The purpose of this Website is to provide an accurate Directory of what we have to offer in the

Dallas Design, Arts and Antique District. So send me your information and at least let me try make

it as accurate as possible.  

If you would like to apply to be on this Design District Web Site and Directory and have not received a

Membership Packet, you may make application by sending in an e-mail to me at:

 However, your e-mail  MUST  contain the following information:

1. Company Name as you wish it to appear in the Directory:

2. Your business address and suite number, i.e. your mailing address.

3. Your current web site address if you have one:  www . ---------- .com   .net  .info    etc.

4. Your main Phone number:    214 - XXX - XXXX     Fax Number:   214 - XXX - XXXX

    Your E-Mail Address if you want it to appear.     Some people don't!

5. List your hours of operation:    Keep it simple.   M-F    9 - 5     Sat:   12 - 5

6. Define Showroom Status?   Tell me more about this?

     S T T O  =  Strictly to the Trade      T T O  =  To the Trade Only

     D C T T O  =  Discounts & Consideration to the Trade Only       "Welcome" = Welcome

     "No Status" = Blank   

7. Write a short paragraph about what you want people to know about your business. 

     These "narratives" will usually be found in the "Categories" sections of the Directory.

     The Directory has THREE basic parts: 

     1. Alphabetical Listings  :  For quick reference.

     2. Category Listings       :  For Narrative Descriptions

     3. Street Listings            :   For showing your Category choices and position by street.

8. I do reserve the right to edit narrative that I deem verbose or overly redundant as it

    affects the ability of the site to perform its task.  So please be brief and to the point.

    PICTURES:  Eventually, thumbnail pictures will show up next to your company name.

                            Some already do.

    Remember too, there will be a lot of  HYPERLINKING  to your own web sites ! ! !

9. Pick the three most important CATEGORIES you would like your company to be listed

    under in order of most important 1st.

    Just write, "I want my 1st category to be   "this",    my 2nd "this"     and my 3rd "this".

You are certainly welcome to suggest other "categories". However, their implementation

or use shall remain the sole discretion of the webmaster and the limits of the cost of production.

Web sites are bought based on quantity of data they take up on the Hosting Server

and that has to be a consideration here too.
